New Here?
When you worship with us, you can expect a traditional service featuring congregational singing, prayer, and expositional preaching through God's Word. Our Sunday morning worship service typically lasts 60–75 minutes. We also offer Sunday School classes for all ages beginning one hour before our worship service.
On Wednesdays, we host ministries for children and students beginning at 5:30 PM in our Family Life Center. Students enjoy a meal, fellowship, and a Bible-centered lesson designed to help them grow in their faith. Adults are welcome to join us for the meal before attending our Midweek Bible Study at 6:00 PM.
More About Us
As a Southern Baptist church, we affirm the Baptist Faith and Message (2000). We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God—God in the flesh—who came to live the perfect life we could never live, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again from the dead to provide salvation and new life to all who trust in Him. We believe that Jesus is the only way to the Father and that salvation comes by God's grace through faith in Christ alone.
Our pastor, Christian McKenzie, has served at First Baptist Church since December 2025. He and his wife, Katie, are blessed with three children: Maisie, Theodore, and Eloise.
